Actually, I’m rarely hungry on Keto!
I remember when I first started the Keto diet, I was so shocked to find that I was completely satisfied, 24/7!! I started to worry that I was eating too much, but I was managing my macros through my Keto app! Everything checked out!
One of the things I’ve found to be really, really helpful is to always have
emergency food on hand. Now, sometimes this means you need to have a plan because many of the healthy snacks either need to
be prepared, or, you have to remember to buy them when you’re grocery shopping! Grocery shopping was a little chaotic for me when I first started keto, but now, it’s second nature.
I know that a lot of us are looking for easy, convenient snacks that take little to no prep time, but, if you’re following a strict Keto diet, then you’re more than likely concerned with the ingredients you are about to put into your body for fuel!!
This can make finding snacks a little tricky, but, Kristi and I recently came across a product that we really fell in love with…and we think you will too! If you know us, or if you’re familiar with our channel, then you know that we don’t promote products that we don’t 100% believe in. When we started our channel, we committed to only promoting products that we use and keep in our own household.

I’m about to let you guys in on our newest obsession. Love Good Fats.

In our recent pantry video, you’ll notice that we rarely stock up on
prepackaged snacks, however, recently we had the
opportunity to try Love Good Fats products, and all I
can say is WOW! This amazing company offers
products that we will have in our pantry and in our
purses at all times (you know, just in case).

We were really excited about their products after checking out
their ingredient list-the bars and shakes ALL contain only 1-2g of sugar!! Unheard of, right?! After we tasted them, we
couldn’t get over how incredible they were and what a great variety of flavors they offer.
Too good to be true? Nope! I seem to have a hard time deciding which
flavor is my favorite, but here’s the list of flavors they
offer:
PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATEY
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH
LEMON MOUSSE
COOKIES & CREAM
MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP
COCONUT CHOCOLATE CHIP
RICH CHOCOLATEY ALMOND
PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY
CHEWY NUTTY COCONUT MACADAMIA
CHEWY NUTTY SALTED CARAMEL
CHEWY NUTTY DARK CHOCOLATEY SEA SALT & ALMOND
So, what are some other things to keep on hand so you don’t grab for the wrong things? Let’s check it out…

Chia seed pudding-if you haven’t checked out our video for that yet, at least take a look at the recipe on our website. This delicious treat saves me in the morning when I want something quick, yet satisfying. You can cater it to your liking by adding spices or berries!

Roasted veggies-we keep roasted veggies in the refrigerator at all times. They are the perfect thing to reach for when you just want a snack. We love throwing them on our salads and they are super convenient if you just want to heat them up and serve them as a side dish! Now, I know these require a little bit of prepping, but they are SO worth it. If you are someone who likes to meal prep, chop up some extra zucchini, cauliflower and broccoli–season with garlic powder, salt, pepper and avocado oil, pop them in the oven and voila!

I consider nuts to be a fantastic emergency snack…however, I absolutely have to go ahead and separate them into 1 serving portion size baggies!! I don’t think I need to explain why…I’m a nut for nuts! My favorite nuts to snack on are macadamia, almonds, pecans and walnuts! I typically like to mix up a spicy seasoning and roast them!

Pickles, Olives, Pickled Veggies-these are one of my favorite snacks when I’m craving something salty!! I like pickles on just about everything-but when I feel a “hangry” moment coming on, my husband is quick to offer these salty lifesavers to hold me over until we can agree on what’s for dinner! I find that olives are packed with so much flavor and they’re a healthy fat! Just a handful can usually do the trick for curbing my appetite.

Deviled Eggs-I can’t stress enough how many times hard boiled eggs have saved me. Now remember, we live in the country…so we have farm fresh eggs at our feet! There are so many fun unique twists you can put on a classic deviled egg recipe. Top with homemade candied jalapeños(recipe to come)!

Raw veggies and dip- if you guys love dips as much as I do, a keto friendly dip can be the perfect thing to have when you’re just craving a few bites of
something to satisfy your hunger. What is so great about something like Tzatziki (even spinach or pimento cheese dip), is that you can put it on a burger, maybe roll it up with some up with turkey…You could even eat it with a spoon…It’s that good!!
While I try my best not to snack (mainly because I try to intermittent fast most days), I’m definitely someone who likes to grab something and go! I have also been known to enjoy a movie night in with a bowl (or two) of snacks. I know that not everything goes according to plan every day-and on those days, having (healthy) snacks on hand can be especially helpful!

Remember, if you have a slip up, it’s not the end of the world-I’m a firm believer in accepting a slip up, getting back on the horse and moving on! If you have a minute, drop a comment with some of YOUR favorite emergency foods! I would love to hear from you! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!!
Until next time!
